She began her writing journey with a popular and accessible book entitled THE ULTIMATE PERSONALITY GUIDE which is a simple way to understand seven types of personality maps, and appreciate how each of us can learn more about ourselves and others through ancient and modern personality systems. Then Jennifer wrote the BECOME YOUR BEST SELF SERIES, which is a series of four workbooks on Character, Compassion, Creativity, and Sexual Wisdom. These workbooks are used widely and help youth and young adults learn fundamental skills about core topics. The workbooks promote healthy and productive choices and are a wonderful addition to a classroom, or family exploration, or an important personal discovery process. A NEW MOON is Jennifer's 2009 creation and is a compilation of gorgeous art by TINA WILSON and Jennifer's passionate poetry. 2010 will bring LESSONS FROM STANLEY THE CAT from PENGUIN BOOKS which is a combination of astonishing perceptions, and helpful humorous insight.
Receiving Stanley’s life lessons through Jennifer Freed is like getting mountain spring water through a crystal pipe – nothing is purer.

Stanley reminds me that in order to be truly fulfilled, I need not go any further than the world just at the edge of the whiskers on my nose. Kelly Carlin-McCall

“Stanley the Cat" is Jennifer Freed's loving tribute to her feline companion of many years, wherein she enumerates in so many ways the qualities that sustained a deeply meaningful and long lasting relationship, qualities that can shape the very best in us and in those with whom we want most to share our lives. There is much wisdom here, rendered with simplicity, humor, and grace.
Christopher Lloyd
"Not since Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats have I so delighted in the wisdom and humor of the feline race. Stanley is irresistibly smart and true."
Lise Haines, author of Girl in the Arena.
This wise and winning little book can be profitably read many times, and in at least three different ways: First, read it through with the delightfully apt illustrations as they play off the words that apply perfectly equally to two realities, cat and human, at the same time. But then another time, focus entirely on the words alone, full of emotional intelligence and the wisdom of experience. And finally, read it in appreciation of how marvelously Stanley the Cat’s life and personality have been creatively transmitted by his remarkable human companion to convey, with a light spirit and a sure touch, so many valuable insights for living a happier, more centered, and more fruitful life.
Rick Tarnas, Bestselling Author of The Passion of the Western Mind and Cosmos and Psyche
SEXUAL WISDOM“Sex is not the risk factor, being irresponsible is. This hands-on workbook sums up an entire public health campaign that is wise, educational and bold. For all of you seeking a tool to engage young people in exploring their sexuality, their body, and their relationships, this is it. Sexual Wisdom combines good judgment, connection, and pleasure. Who can refuse?”
Esther Perel, Author of Mating in Captivity: Unlocking Erotic Intelligence
This book is for fun, for people who want to find in one place what different personality typologies say about them. Here, personalities are classified according to a full mix of unscientific and some scientific systems. They include Western and Chinese astrology, numerology, birth order, color typing, and the Ennegram, among others. Character traits for each typology are well explained. Patrons can have fun identifying themselves and others among the various categories. This is certainly not a crucial purchase for libraries, but those with an active readership in pop psychology should consider it as an ancillary addition to the collection.

I am planning to follow the manifesting ideas in this book even though I can't bring myself to actually write in the beautiful pages.
My 16 year old granddaughter who has recently begun figuring out how to create the life she would like as an adult is also excited to be using it.
I believe in aligning with natural forces already- mostly the sun since I live in the desert. Awareness of the lunar cycle-something humans have done for thousands of years-how odd that it seems in the least avant garde.
Besides being beautiful and poetically informative the book is encouraging, helpful and simple in its format.
I've read a zillion self help books-this one is like a stone being thrown in the lake-seems simple-but if you follow the ripples you will like the ride.
