#SoulEdu Recap

January 26, 2019

I just finished teaching a free 14-day course via email and Instagram called #SoulEdu, intended to encourage us all to seek more soul-centered joy and meaning this year. Below is a sneak peek at one of the lessons. You can see all of the rest published here on my psychological astrology website.

The next session of #SoulEdu kicks off on February 12th, and it's free to participate. Just follow @drjenniferfreed on Instagram and subscribe here

#SoulEdu, Lesson 11: Curiosity

So often, we look at life through our lens of expectation. What's in it for us? What will this be like for me?

Disappointment is the direct result of unmet expectations. Being curious, instead of expecting, means giving up outcomes in favor of thoroughly enjoying the process.

Today, we're going to cultivate that curiosity.

What if today you looked upon your life as an unfolding puzzle in which each piece is revealed?

When we play full-out with our talents and our gifts, life has a perfect way of ordering things just as they need to be. This doesn't mean that we always get what we want, but we do get what we need. See your life right now as complete, even as you have unmet dreams. In this moment, all is as good as it can be.

So here is your mission today: look at events unfolding as perfectly shaped for the puzzle of your life. Ask the questions:

"How does this serve the greater good right now?"

"How does this serve my growth right now?"

Write a thank you note to your life for giving you the opportunity to learn from everything.

The ego praises our happiness, but the soul knows well that everything that happens is testimony to being fully alive. Go on now and embrace it all by always asking the curious questions, as if the whole thing called life is a miracle. And share your "thank you note" to your curiosity-driven life on Instagram with our hashtag, #SoulEdu.
